Video and consent

How the family's choice about coaching video works, what turning it off does, and how footage is kept private.

For coaches, families, club admins

Each family has a Video for coaching choice on their child's consent page. It is on unless they turn it off. Coaching video is never public and never downloadable by other families.

What it covers

• Player clips of their child.
• Coached videos kept as a clip of their child.
• Video reviews sent to them.

If a family turns it off

Turning it off deletes all of the child's coaching clips and video reviews for good. After that, coaches cannot send the family a review (the studio says so) and a coached video cannot be kept as that child's clip. The family is asked to confirm first, and the change takes effect straight away.

Families manage this from Privacy and consent on their child's page. Coaches see the consent badges on a player's page but cannot change them.

How footage is kept private

• Team footage is watched only by the team's staff. Families see only the moments sent to their child.
• Only club admins, head coaches and coaches can open the Studio and upload.
• Every video plays through short-lived signed links, so a copied link stops working.
• A family sees only their own child's clips and reviews. A player with their own login sees only their own.
