1What we aim for
- The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, on this website and in the app.
- Pages you can zoom to 400% without losing anything, and use with a keyboard alone.
- Text and buttons with enough contrast to read at the rink, and buttons big enough to press with cold hands.
- Animations that stop for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion; the drill on the home page has a pause button.
- Every product picture and drawing described in words for screen readers.
2What isn't right yet
- The drill designer, where you draw on the rink, can't yet be used fully with a keyboard or screen reader. Every drill also has written steps.
- Video tagging relies on watching the footage. Coach notes about a clip are also given in text.
- Exercise demo videos come from YouTube and don't all have accurate captions; each exercise also has written instructions.
3Asking for help or reporting a problem
If something is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@rinktracker.com. We'll reply within five working days and tell you when we expect to fix it.
4How we test
We check new screens with automated tools, by keyboard, with VoiceOver on iPhone and Mac, and at small phone sizes. We review this statement at least once a year.
