Editing, deleting and the edit history
What you can change or delete after writing it, who can see earlier versions, and what can never be changed.
For coaches, families, club admins
Most things people write in RinkTracker can be edited or deleted by the person who wrote them: coach notes, goal reviews and titles, practice logs and self-ratings, announcements in the app, video review questions and replies, notes on reports and events, and workout notes.
- An edited item shows Edited. Pressing it opens the Edit history, which only the author, club admins and the safeguarding lead can see.
- A club admin can delete coach content, but never a family's.
- Earlier versions and deleted items are kept for two years, then removed automatically. They're erased with a player's data and included in a data export.
- Videos you remove go to the bin first, so a mistake can be put back.
